Four Rivers- Second Time Lucky!

Connor and Henry successfully completed their latest cycling challenge, visiting the Glyme, Stour, Evenlode and Windrush! They had attempted a longer version of the 62 mile bike in September 2012, but 3 miles away from the final river Connor's bike broke down. They completed the tour in just over 4 hours (not including lunch break). If you would like to take a look at the Four Rivers tour, it will be up on the routes website soon.

Cycling 2013!

Connor and Henry have headed outside onto the bike for the first time this year. They completed a 33 mile bike ride and have enjoyed being back outside on the bike.  They are planning to go cycling most Sundays now the weather has improved, and they are planning to go cycling after school after their Easter break in April. They are currently mixing between gym traning, swimming and weather is warm, running and cycling.

Indoor training

Connor and Henry have given up cycling for the winter. They have agreed that with only 9 hours of daylight and temperatures below freezing, that it is best to give up outdoor cycling until March. Instead they have become keen members of their local Leisure Center, attending the gym three times a week, and swimming at least twice too! They are hoping to record themselves training. You can visit and see their records on the time trial page on the more button, or you can press the button below!

School houses Challenge

Connor and Henry recently went on a bike ride for their school to try to pass the four rivers which make up their school houses. It took them 4 and 3/4 hours to nearly complete. Unfortunately near the end of their journey Connor's bike broke just when they passed the river Stour. The route was roughly 100 miles, however, due to Connor's bike breaking, they only managed to cycle 80 miles.
